Sand Rivers Lodge inside Selous Game Reserve

Posted 1 year ago by pedro in response to aoife's question: I wish to spend a few days right in the middle of nature. Any lodge placed in Selous Game Reserve? (give a different answer) .

Sand Rivers, it's a camp lodge settled by a Kenyan guy in the middle of the 20,000 square miles of wilderness. The huge tax of 425$ per night, including food, is because of the safaris driven by the master himself: you'll go, for one afternoon or a few days, as you never know how long it will last, to spot game and explore riverbeds. The safaris along Rufiji river and Lake Tagalala are best. There's always the back-up of some four-wheel sightseeing.
