There are no special equipments required in such treks on Kilimajaro. Yet, you'll need a strong pair of boots and warm clothing , not to forget about gloves, hats and waterproofs. Of course a sleeping bag and a mattress are instrumental for a trip like that. It's advisable that you have a topographical map too, like Map & Guide to Kilimanjaro.
